Bar 14 is OPEN!!!

I can not wait to get back to my hometown of Abilene, Texas!  That’s a statement I never expected to utter… but I’m so very excited to see the bar (owned by Calvin & Keely Abor and their business partner Edward Gutierrez) in action.  They have worked tirelessly over the past few months creating something special for Abilene and apparently it was something the people of Abilene were excited about — they had over 700 people through their doors on their opening night!  WHAT?!?!?!

I created their logo, business cards, menu, outdoor sign, and website and it was such a cool opportunity and experience!

far from since when

i have thoroughly enjoyed working with the band: far from since when! candice is crazy talented and creative and we have worked beautifully together on their band’s logo, album cover, and website.  it’s been soo much fun!

i’m really pleased with how everything has come together!  the album is in post-production and will release sometime this month.  in the meantime, we’ll be finishing up t-shirts, posters, etc.  the website is up, but we’ll continue to add to it over the coming days/weeks.

A Mardi Gras Soiree

I had the opportunity to work with A World for Children, an amazing non-profit organization.  They asked me to design a press kit, save the dates, invitations, and the event program booklet for their annual fundraising gala.  This year was mardi gras themed, which was so much fun!

I created a logo for the event and then created design elements that we used in each item – it all came together beautifully!  Classy and festive.

Event Styling… is that what it’s called?

I don’t really like how “Party Planning” sounds… so I’ll go with Event Styling

I was privileged to design for an adorable Daddy Daughter Dance!  It was SO. MUCH. FUN.

I created the photo booth backdrop, all paper flowers for the photo booth and dessert table… as well as invitations, table menus, etc.  It was a beautifiul evening full of beautiful little girls and their super sweet daddies!
